… A Lumix walk. Carlisle
Time to spring out. Be yourself and do your thing , because life is to short to iron pants.

Set off from Hexham to Spartylea. All in Northumberland, just on case you didn’t know. I could not make it to a water fall I intended to shot as the path was too soggy.
Fabulous place in the summer if you can scramble through.
The soil is full of colours.
Then I jumped back in the car and drove past Allenheads into County Durham territory.
Old lead mine .
The Penines moorland was in full shine.
I kept going. Then , I arrived at Blanchland. The word squirrel came to my mind. As you do. I turned left and headed to Ruffside then arrived at Pow Hill country park. I sat on an old tree stump and waited. As I was photographing some birds…
… I heard some fast movement behind me. There ……
The two came near me to say hello and ask if I had some nuts. I said, ” I have nuts but not the sort of nuts you are interested in. Just stay and look pretty for the camera”…..
Next time I will swing via the market and buy this fella some nuts.
